All day Thursday (13th), and Friday (14th), the ever popular Thursday night "night Owl" session, plus the APRE Engineering Awards dinner, Friday night, April 14
Hear sessions and interact with colleagues about the broad array of issues, challenges and ideas facing the public radio and public media technical community. Topics from transmitters and antennas to automation and audio processing; podcasting and video and the changing legal and regulatory climate. And share time and ideas with your colleagues with special chance to meet and converse in the hallways, breaks and other opportunities to refresh our relationships in the engineering community.

NIGHT OWL 2023
For the Thursday evening ‘Night Owl’ we invite live conference attendees to share during our Stories From the Frontline session. We’re looking stories about projects, failures, disasters, and triumphs! Remember: experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want, so share those experiences and we all benefit. Submit a short description and pictures, if you have them, to email@example.com - subject: “Stories From The Frontline.”
The PREC Night Owl will be Thursday evening of the conference starting at 7p. Free food and (adult) drinks provided.
WHEN/WHERE: Las Vegas, NV at the Tuscany Suites, April 13-14, 2023.
APRE is offering conference scholarships to attend the conference for a person new to the broadcast field with a technical or operational bent. The scholarship will provide: conference registration; travel to the convention and hotel accommodations for the two day conference.
If you, or someone you know, would benefit from the conference, please submit a one page summary of your experience with public radio, and your reasons for applying.
Must work at a public radio station;
Have 5 years or less technical experience in public radio;
Must attend the full conference and be available for interviews and photo ops during the conference.
The conference will be held at the Tuscany Resort and Casino, 255 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169.
